Older People's Involvement Afternoon
The BSG conference always provides an excellent opportunity not only to hear the latest research but also to forge active links between research, policy and practice by bringing together like-minded people. In promoting wider access this year we have invited over 60 older people to attend the conference on Friday afternoon. They will arrive at lunch time, be free to attend any of the afternoon sessions as well as the keynote presentations. We hope that they will play a full and active role in the afternoon’s events. To facilitate this we have organised an opportunity for older people and delegates to meet during the afternoon tea/poster break to gain their views about the conference presentations and their views on future research priorities.
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations are an invaluable part of the BSG conference and this year we have an excellent space available for viewing in the Main Hall on Level 6. Posters will be in place from Thursday for the duration of the conference. A special dedicated poster session, where authors will be available to discuss their work, will take place on Friday 7 September between 4.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
